Tour: Duración - 3 Hs. Tour
This tour includes the fashionable
neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo, with their unique
parks and buildings, the Colon Theatre, one of the most
important Opera houses in the world. Also, the Plaza
de Mayo (May Square) and its historical surroundings:
the Cabildo, the Cathedral, the Avenida de Mayo (May
Avenue) with its opulent buildings and domes, the Plaza
de los dos Congresos (Square of the two Congresses),
the 9th of July Avenue (the widest street in the world)
and the famous Obelisk, certainly the most recognizable
feature of the city. Also the colonial neighborhoods
of San Telmo, La Boca, home of the picturesque and colorful
Caminito street and Puerto Madero, the newest district
in town. On Sundays visit to San Telmo’s antiques
fair.
The Tigre and the Parana delta, with a Coastline
train ride -

The Tigre area is the starting
point for visiting the hundreds of islands which create
the Parana river delta on the mouth of the Rio de La
Plata. Located 30 km north of Buenos Aires, the Tigre
is an extraordinary ecological area connected to the
city by the Tren de la Costa (Coastline train), a picturesque
railway that runs along the shores of the Rio de la
Plata, where many luxurious residences are set. Once
at Tigre, sailing excursion through its small rivers
and channels, enjoying nature at its best.
A day with Gauchos at an Estancia

Aires, the Carlos Gardel life and professional tango
dancers will teach us how to dance tango in an introductory
lesson.
LA PLATA:
The dreamt city: ½ Day..
La Plata, which is capital of the Province of Buenos
Aires, was one of the first Jules Verne’s predictions
that became reality (The Dreamt City). Nowadays it is
a modern city, excellently planned, with well-designed
parks and green areas, museums, cultural and educational
centers, all of which at the beginning of the 20th century
turned this town into a meeting point for academicians
and researchers, as well as for both argentinean and
foreign students. Its Natural Science Museum is an internationally
recognized institution on account of its valuable collections
of fossils, specially those of large prehistoric animals.
